We offer treatment for clients looking to reduce trauma or anxiety. Our practice also includes our animal co-therapist capable of animal-assisted interventions for treatment and we can offer sessions in Spanish. We can include 12-Step approaches for clients looking to sustain sobriety and we are certified in brainspotting for increasing mindful awareness.

We believe therapy should be a collaborative experience between a counselor and client, and this is something WayFare Counseling uniquely emphasizes to dispel the stigma and shame associated with mental health concerns.

A client has described me as relatable and I appreciated this as a compliment. We work hard to advocate for our clients to be able to advocate for themselves and I believe this comes from explaining our approach to therapy as it is happening in the moment so that there are no questions or misunderstandings about what progress is being made in treatment.
