I work best with people who are ready to look at those things that are not working for them and are ready to change them. I am very proactive and will gently guide you, but not direct you. The answers to questions will come from you alone, and you are in control of the process.

Explore obstacles, ask questions, and delve safely into areas that might at first feel scary, but that will feel less scary as we delve deeper. I will ask questions, and if appropriate, give articles to read between sessions on the topic at hand.

I work with couples with a wide range of relationship concerns with a particular specialization in bicultural relationships in which partners come from distinctly different cultural or ethnic backgrounds. My work focuses on how cultural frameworks can shape relational distress and misunderstanding, which is often not addressed in traditional couples therapy.

I started working with children as a teaching artist in the Bronx in the early 2000s, and working with children made me realize that instead of being a teaching artist, I wanted to be a therapist. That work felt more important to me.

I also work with high-achieving adults and young professionals who may appear successful on the outside but struggle with dating, intimacy, or finding clarity in their personal and relational lives. My approach helps identify patterns, gain insight, and create meaningful change in your relationships and life.
