My approach is warm, reflective, and culturally responsive. We look beneath symptoms to understand how family roles, migration, loss, culture, and earlier relationships may still shape how you feel and relate today. I draw from psychodynamic, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and somatic approaches to help you build greater self-trust.

Together, we will make sense of the grief, pressure, identity questions, or family patterns you may be carrying. We can explore what you learned to do to adapt or belong, understand what still serves you, and create more room for your own needs, relationships, and choices.

Thoughtful, patient, grounding, and easy to talk to. I create space for you to slow down, bring forward emotions that may be difficult to name, and explore patterns without judgment. Clients can expect warmth, curiosity, and gentle challenge as we work toward deeper understanding and meaningful change.

I work with adults navigating grief, immigration experiences, cultural identity, family expectations, academic pressure, and major life transitions. I especially support people who feel caught between cultures, roles, or versions of who they are expected to be, and want to feel more connected to themselves.

My path to becoming a therapist grew from moving through Chinese public and private schools, an American high school, a mainland-Hong Kong college, and graduate school in the U.S. Experiencing different cultures and education systems shaped my interest in identity, belonging, and helping people feel understood.

You do not need to know exactly what to say before starting therapy. We can begin with what feels heavy, confusing, or difficult to name. I hope therapy becomes a place where you can understand what shaped you, reconnect with parts of yourself that were set aside, and build a life that feels more fully your own.
