Warm, empathic & engaging with a "lively" sense of humor; supportive & enthusiastic, but not afraid to challenge when needed.
Something to know about my approach is:
As we work together, you'll develop a growing sense of alliance and supportive collaboration; an increasing sense of insight and confidence that you'll be okay - and, ultimately, a lot better than just "okay."
Together, we will:
Explore your experience and how you want your life to be. We'll look at your story, how you tell it, and where you want it to go. How you see yourself - and everything around you - can make all the difference in the world.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with mood issues & impulse-control symptoms; anger/frustration, the after-effects of trauma, identity concerns & major life transitions. I love working with people who know how incredibly challenging - yet doable - this work can be.
I became a therapist because:
Early on, I had the great good fortune of discovering that I love doing this type of work.
I never doubt how meaningful it is.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Because of covid precautions, telehealth only - for now.
More about me and my practice:
I'll want to know what you love; your particular talents, strengths & abilities - what we'll be building on; what makes the lights come on and grounds your life in meaning.
Twenty plus years experience.
