I believe in being genuine and authentic. I believe that building trust is the foundation for successful therapeutic work. My goal is to ensure that you have a safe space where you can feel comfortable in sharing your deepest concerns.

Together, we will unpack the issues that brought you to counseling and find workable solutions that you are comfortable with. I will learn about your goals for counseling and help you to accomplish them.

My clients would describe me as empathic and genuine. I have been told on many occasions that I'm a great encourager. They often say that I provide resources they never would have thought of. A person that has helped them to accomplish their goals and calm their souls.

I specialize in working with people who struggle with depression, overthinking, family issues, alcohol/substance use, grief, trauma, self-esteem, self harm, work stress, boundary setting or suicidal ideas.

I felt a calling in my heart to become a counselor. I also saw a need in my community for more therapists of color. As a person who struggled in my, I knew how challenging it was to find someone who could relate to me and my culture. I wanted to make it easier for someone else to find that support.

I operate a private practice in North Raleigh, where I provide in person sessions. I am also licensed in New Jersey and Rhode Island and provide telehealth services in all three states.
