My goal is to cultivate a space where you can explore who you are without judgment, treat yourself and all of your emotions with kindness, and create changes that feel meaningful to you. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your own life. My role is to walk alongside you - not tell you what to do, try to “fix” you, or make assumptions.

Together we will explore whatever feels most important and meaningful to you. I use an emotion-focused, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach. In our work together, all of your feelings are welcome. We may gently explore how past experiences and relationships shape your life today, while staying centered on what matters most to you in the present.

People who see me in counseling describe me as kind, warm, and caring. I emphasize taking your concerns as sincerely as possible, whatever they may be. Over time, people often share that we fostered greater confidence, deeper self-understanding, and improvements in relationships and communication with others during therapy together.

Are looking to deepen their understanding of their behavioral, emotional, and thought patterns. Some of my treatment focuses are raising awareness of the effects of trauma and reconnecting with one's emotions while addressing potential effects of shame. Together we can work towards fostering authenticity, self-acceptance, and compassion.

I went to counseling when I was younger! Since I was teenager, I wanted to provide a kind, gentle, and affirming space for other people in therapy. I know how challenging it can sometimes feel to heal, grow, and change, and I believe that with supportive conditions anyone can.
