Cookie cutter doesn’t exist here. Care is customizable and input driven, meaning it's my intention to meet each client where they are. I utilize feedback throughout the therapeutic process to craft a working relationship specific to each client's needs and personality. I work to ensure care supports the intersection of all your identities.

I pro-actively assess where you are in the process of change, which sometimes means change hasn’t started yet. Then we map out how to get to the next phase through the path you and I identify together, at a palatable pace. Together we will address the person in the room, the versions of you that existed in the past, and those that may exist in the future.

I’m no stranger to either side of the "counseling couch" and am aware of the need for compassionate encouragement. Therefore, my clients describe me as warm, genuine, and direct. I utilize patience, humor, challenging questions, and honest observations to create a welcoming environment where you are seen and heard.

I’ve directly seen the damaging impact of mental health-related stigma in minority communities, across generations. I take pride in providing a safe space for individuals to address the impact of a system that villainizes those experiencing side effects of the human condition, who happen to have darker skin or have identities that “don’t fit” the status quo.
