Jennifer Vandegriff

I specialize in integrated trauma treatment for women. You have to feel safe enough in your body, and in your connections with others and yourself, in order to do the deeper work. We will incorporate somatic practices, for nervous system regulation, alongside traditional trauma therapies providing effective tools for healing deep wounds.

We will address your body AND mind during therapy. I have found it to be helpful to use somatic therapies (body based) in the beginning, in order to help calm and regulate your nervous system and strengthen a sense of safety. We will also explore and build compassion for your parts, in preparation for deeper work.

I don’t believe in being a “blank slate” therapist. We have the opportunity to learn from one another and connect as human beings when we share our experiences, successes, and struggles. I show up as my distractable, opinionated, and sometimes disorganized self, so you can show up as yourself too.
