My approach is warm, authentic, and direct. Therapy is a place to practice honesty, effective communication, and challenging oneself. I use an eclectic approach, meaning that while I have foundational theories that I use to guide our work, I also am always trying new things to find what works best for you.

I specialize in working with people who want to work on themselves. People who are wanting to try and be brave with themselves. Maybe you have been holding onto wounds for some time and are ready to look them in the eye. My practice is a safe place to build internal strength and resilience, to build trust within yourself to tend to these wounds.

Mental health is political. Therapy exists as a result of the impact societal issues have had on mental health. Many of us grew up desensitized to war or trauma, isolated because of unique circumstances that are more common than we may realize. I became a therapist to directly resist against systems that work to keep us isolated and depressed.
