Compassionate, genuine, and funny. My job is to listen to you deeply and help you connect with what you need.
I utilize an approach called ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and I also utilize an approach called Body Trust® in my work. I also practice from a harm reduction perspective.
Look at the systems that keep us disconnected from our bodies and work to find that connection again. We will also look at what makes you feel most authentic and alive and explore how to pursue it.
Are ready to have a different relationship with their bodies. I love working with folks who are ready to think about ending the punishment and control we've been told we need to exert over our bodies and to start trusting and honoring them.
I struggled with an eating disorder as a teenager and wanted to use my lived experience to help others. I love connecting with people.
I provide therapy from my home office. You may occasionally hear my dog Toast snore during our sessions.
You don't have to have an eating disorder to work with me. Folks with chronic illness, changes in health or menopause also find benefit in my approach. I also offer a variety of different group therapy options.
