My clients describe me as:
Compassionate, comforting, interactive, approachable, wholistic, and genuine.
Something to know about my approach is:
I approach trauma treatment through various perspectives in order to allow you to better understand yourself, including talk therapy, EMDR, grounding & self reflection. We'll create a plan forward tailored to your specific needs.
Together, we will:
Explore the concerns that brought you to therapy, and identify the root causes. We will analyze your thoughts, behaviors, and relationship patterns to determine what is no longer serving you. We will work to understand your needs and desires in life
I specialize in working with people who:
Are adults feeling overwhelmed or burdened by their traumatic experiences, recent or historical. I'll help you explore the individual effects of these experiences on your life, relationships, & beliefs, and create a path forward on your own terms.
I became a therapist because:
I am passionate about empowering others to understand the effects of their own experiences and overcome the challenges they face.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
The Hibernia House feels like walking into your best friend's living room. My therapy dog in training often joins me in session as well.
More about me and my practice:
In my late 20s I took stock of my role in the world and realized my career was not offering me the connection with others that I truly desired. A lot of self-exploration helped me to identify my passion and become a therapist.
