I put a lot of energy into creating a therapy space where you can feel comfortable being your fully unfiltered self. I want you to look forward to sessions every week and see therapy as a go to place for real talk and reflection, leaving each session a little lighter.

What we focus on in therapy really depends on your needs. Some people come in with clear goals they want to work toward over a few months, while others are going through something that takes more time and ongoing support.

My clients would describe me as open minded and understanding. Because of my background working in crisis stabilization and inpatient settings, I can be a calming presence when things feel overwhelming. My teen clients have said I’m easy to talk to and actually get what they mean.

I work with individuals struggling with a wide range of experiences—from complex mental health histories and trauma to everyday challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, work difficulties and relationship stress. I also work with teens managing the pressures that come with school, relationships, family dynamics, loss and growing up.

I can’t summarize how passionate I am about being a therapist in just one section. I decided to pursue my doctorate in psychology after volunteering as a suicide prevention crisis line counselor while I was an undergrad at UCLA. I had many conversations during that experience that inspired my long term goals.

I was incredibly lucky to have my own therapist in grad school that worked with me flexibly to afford therapy. It’s my mission to pay it forward and to make high quality therapy as accessible as possible. I accept insurance to support this mission. If you have insurance I accept, typically you’ll just pay your copay for each session.
