ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
I use kindness and humor in sessions, but I believe in being direct. I will work help you to identify and overcome the challenges you face.
Something to know about my approach is:
I want people to end each session with additional skills and tools they can use in their daily life to increase your resiliency. Strategies include stopping negative thoughts and replacing them with truth, as well as finding a sense of purpose.
Together, we will:
We will examine how anxiety, anger, and trauma impact your relationships, work, and sleep, and then we will develop a practical plan to manage and overcome these challenges to help you live the life that you want.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are veterans, active duty, first responders, and their family members. This includes people who feel burned out, irritable, stressed, and emotionally detached from people they care about most.
I became a therapist because:
Living in a military family throughout my life taught me resilience, and I want to help others feel confident even when in difficult situations.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I exclusively offer telehealth therapy to protect people's privacy and to make it more convenient, whether at home, in your office, or in your car.
More about me and my practice:
I've spent my life living around active duty members, veterans, and first responders, and most of my therapy career has been working with this population. I've personally experienced the uncertainty of this lifestyle and want to give back.
