My approach is simple. You are the expert of you! I use a mindfulness base with an individualized approach. I let the client, their situation, their struggles, and their life be the guide to what treatment options I develop. I am not a one approach therapist as not every approach will be successful for every client. Your story is the compass for my approach.

Explore the immense pressures that you have been placed on you and take away the need for perfection! You will learn how to show yourself compassion and grace, untangle the expectations that have been placed on you, and reconnect you with who you are, beyond your accomplishments. I will work with you on how to get out of survival mode and living again!

My clients would describe me as open, compassionate, and human! I cannot expect a single client to arrive at a session and be vulnerable, if I myself do not show up 100% me, flaws and all. I am a straight shooter, who has been known to curse during a session. But any client of mine will tell you, I will always make you feel seen and heard at every session!

My main focus is on women's issues. I particularly focus on women who are high achieving and to the outside world have it "all together" but internally are exhausted. Not only is the social pressure to be at 100% all the time, but so are ingrained beliefs that there is no other choice. I also specialize in infertility and fertility counseling and perfection.

I am in this field because of the science behind the affects that life has on the human brain and body. I find it amazing how life events, cultural beliefs, environment, race, and society can affect one's development, thinking, behavior, and mood. I take pride in providing my clients with as much knowledge as I can so they can be the expert on themselves!

I own a small private group practice that focuses on women's health, anxiety, grief, trauma, perfectionism, and OCD. We accept all major insurances as well as self-pay options. I provide virtual counseling services, through Simple Practice, providing you with the ease of attending counseling sessions wherever it is most convenient for you!
