I work psychodynamically, which means I’m interested in what keeps repeating, what has been hard to say directly, and how earlier relationships still shape the present. I’m not especially worksheet-y. I try to offer a space that is thoughtful, steady, and honest enough for the more complicated parts of you to come into view.

Together, we will pay attention to the patterns, feelings, conflicts, and longings that shape your life. We’ll make room for what feels stuck, split off, or difficult to name, and think together about how you came to be this way. The work is less about fixing you than helping you understand yourself with more clarity, honesty, and freedom.

My clients would describe me as warm, thoughtful, attentive, and direct. I tend to listen closely and notice patterns, but I’m not a blank wall. I ask questions, share observations, and try to help clients feel recognized without being flattened into easy answers. My style is steady, curious, and willing to sit with complexity.

I specialize in working with people who feel outwardly capable but inwardly tangled: thoughtful, sensitive adults who notice patterns others miss, carry old shame or grief, and are tired of translating themselves into something easier to understand. Many are queer, neurodivergent, or otherwise shaped by a long history of not quite fitting.

I became a therapist after years of working in law, where I learned to read closely, think carefully, and sit with complexity. Over time, I found myself more drawn to the human story underneath the argument: how people suffer, protect themselves, repeat old patterns, and long to be more fully known.
