Shae Schartner

I am a strong believer that the most helpful tool in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I will use listening, empathy, attunement, and supportive reflection to help you process and communicate your thoughts and feelings.

Together we will explore what is most important to you! We will create a unique treatment plan to reflect your needs. I will be here to help you process and explore, but ultimately you will be the expert on where we are headed.

My clients have described me as kind, considerate, understanding, thoughtful, and encouraging. My clients have also expressed that I am a good listener and that our appointments are productive. I believe that I am especially skilled at challenging my clients while still validating them.

I specialize in working with adults and children that are experiencing stress, life adjustments, anxiety, trauma, burnout, people pleasing, anger concerns, or impulsive behaviors. I also love to work with couples and co-parents.

I became a therapist because I love people and because I believe that human relationships can be so healing. Being trusted with others’ most vulnerable and intimate thoughts, emotions, challenges, and relationships is a huge honor to me.

My practice is located in Green Bay, WI. My office is in a clean, cozy building with windows. Outside of providing therapy, I love to read books, work on puzzles, and go for walks.
