We will explore the reasons for which you're in therapy and develop a deep understanding of them all. Then, we'll work together to solve the issues you'd like to solve. Once we're done solving what you'd like to solve, you'll be done!

I ground my approach in TEAM-CBT. It's a compassionate, powerful approach of tools and techniques. These tools and techniques will serve you for the rest of your life - not just when you're in therapy with me.
Do the hard work to heal your body, brain, and spirit. We will walk down life's darker paths together to come to a place of healing and light. We will discover that today day not have to be a predictor of tomorrow and that life can look different.

I truly am a holistic provider. I utilize a client tailored, trauma informed approach, including brainspotting, walk and talk therapy, somatic work, spiritual work, and mindfulness approaches.
We'll look at your family of origins, your relationships with self and others, see what patterns are playing out in your life, gain insight into what's working and what needs to be changed, learn tools that will help facilitate change long term.

My approach is holistic, that means, when treating a client I look at the whole picture, their environment and history including. I believe people are complex human beings require individualized treatment.
Step one, figure out what is fueling the grimy pond. A mentor once told me, “If you don’t know where you are going, how do you know when you get there?” Step two is identifying what you want your clear pond to look like.

I like analogies... you are currently sitting in a pond full of grime and slime, no wildlife in sight, and the water is muddy brown. This is what life looks like following hard seasons, bad childhoods, or rough relationships.
. . . . discover the real connections in your life; the opportunities for you to become a stronger, healthier, more virtuous person; how well you relate to self, others, and the world; and how you can be THE agent in all you think, feel, and do.

While I value the exploration of our motives, wishes, desires, hopes, and fears, and while I am very much a relationally-based clinician, I like to be practical and focus on the "now what?" of people's issues. Together we get to discover "the way."
