I am integrative, meaning I draw from what I’ve learned and what I’m trained in to suit you. I am known to drop some f-bombs (if we’ve got that kind of rapport), not afraid to challenge you, and I bring my authentic self as a therapist.
Therapy with me will equip you to defeat self-deprecating patterns, harness your internal strengths, and get you back into your life.

Drawing on emotion-focused, mindfulness, somatic, and cognitive-behavioral (cbt) techniques, I will help you explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are maintaining your distress and keeping you stuck.
My approach is influenced by family systems, psychodynamic viewpoints, and developmental psychology. I commonly use cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and brief solution-focused interventions. You’ll work hard, but we’ll laugh more often than cry.

Therapy will be very conversational and we go at your pace. My work is client-centered and resiliency-focused. Most people benefit from understanding their personal history AND how it might tripping them up now. We'll talk about both.
Collaborate to 1) uncover root causes for present feelings and behaviors and 2) develop strategies and tools to reduce unwanted feelings or behaviors and 3) build confidence, a sense of agency, and greater understanding of self and others.

I draw on multiple theories (attachment, person centered, CBT, motivational interviewing, family systems, narrative) to reflect how past experiences shape current feelings and behaviors. I help remove shame/guilt through education and reframing.
we’ll identify the obstacles and the destructive cycles that are getting in the way of your healing and growth. You can expect to feel heard and understood while receiving client-centered, strengths-based, and culturally-informed therapy.

To meet the unique needs of my clients, some of the theoretical approaches I pull from include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, solution-focused practices, and coaching.
