My approach to therapy is that it all begins with establishing that rapport and trust. We are entering a relationship which takes time to build and I will never come in with an agenda and will meet you wherever you are.

At times my work is instructional as I help fill in the gaps on how your body and brain work, what emotions are, what they’re useful for, and what we’re supposed to do with them. I teach specific skills for how to respond to your feelings.
We will develop new insights and self awareness. This might include clarifying values, understanding relationship dynamics, or recognizing the impact past experiences have on current functioning. New insights provide direction for needed change.
