I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is evidence-based, and very effective in treating anxiety, panic, insomnia, and many other issues. I teach concrete skills and assign homework to help you improve as fast as possible.
We will examine how anxiety, anger, and trauma impact your relationships, work, and sleep, and then we will develop a practical plan to manage and overcome these challenges to help you live the life that you want.

I want people to end each session with additional skills and tools they can use in their daily life to increase your resiliency. Strategies include stopping negative thoughts and replacing them with truth, as well as finding a sense of purpose.

I come from a Person-Centered approach, meaning that I view the client as the expert on their own experiences. I prefer to let the client guide the session. I might have things to say here and there, but I start out by listening intently.
