My clients describe me as:
My therapy style is warm, interactive, and collaborative. I believe that therapy is most productive when you have the freedom to direct growth.
Something to know about my approach is:
My method is counseling through a family systems lens, with a psychodynamic approach appropriate to your particular needs. I believe the mind/body/spirit work hand-in-hand and utilize a holistic approach to treatment.
Together, we will:
Help you regain peace, joy, and safety to feel calmer, more in control of your thoughts, and at home in your body. In working together, we can help sort through the negative patterns and find connection and excitement again.
I specialize in working with people who:
Feel that their emotions are all over the place and racing thoughts seem to be taking over their lives. Maybe they feel like they just can’t get motivated, daily tasks are impossible most days, or the pain of past events continues to surface today.
I became a therapist because:
As a child of divorce, I wanted to understand what healthy families looked like and to help others overcome the pain of the past.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Counseling is offered virtually, so you can come as you are with no fuss, and bring your pets too!
More about me and my practice:
As my own therapies include baking, thrifting, gardening, etc., I can incorporate creativity into the counseling space. I'm also a personality test junkie and believe self-reflection is useful in counseling. Christian counseling can also be offered.
