My approach is honest, empathetic, and relational in order to help clients gain self-awareness. I believe that creating a safe and non-judgmental environment is essential in order for healing to take place. ​ By focusing on clients’ strengths and values, I help them learn healthy ways to overcome challenges and empower them to make positive changes.

During the intake session I will gather information and history. We will discuss the reasons for coming to therapy and come up with an individualized treatment plan to best meet your needs. I use ACT, DBT, CBT, and client centered techniques. Working collaboratively, we will identify a framework that is validating and promotes growth.

I have worked in various settings such as inpatient, residential centers, community mental health, and private practice. I believe that it is important that clients have the freedom of self-expression and are not rushed through the therapeutic process. I have a gentle and soft approach but direct when clients need to be challenged.
