My clients describe me as:
an excellent listener who shows curiosity and interest. Someone with compassion, intelligence, and understanding of trauma and LGBTQIA+ strengths.
Something to know about my approach is:
I am an associate marriage and family therapist with 2 Masters degrees in psychology. I offer both cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Depth/Jungian approaches with a variety of clients, most of whom are members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Together, we will:
Find relief for emotional pain. Develop tools and strategies to cope with distress. Understand the roots of difficult patterns.
I specialize in working with people who:
seek positive changes, especially gay men and LBTQIA+ folks. Those struggling w/ dating, sex, relationships. People recovering from trauma, addiction, creative blocks, life transitions. I also focus on grief, depression, anxiety, caregiver stress.
I became a therapist because:
