I see clients Mon.-Thur. 10am-9pm and Fridays 10am-5pm.
My clients describe me as:
compassionate, calming, non-judgemental, warm, challenging in a gentle way, and authentic.
Something to know about my approach is:
While I utilize a variety of therapy techniques, I believe the key to a successful therapeutic experience lies within the relationship between you and me. I tailor my approach to your needs and goals. I highly value feedback and collaboration.
Together, we will:
explore how your chronic illness, grief and loss, and/or trauma are impacting your world. I'll provide psychoeducation where appropriate and help you find parts of yourself that have been hidden away.
I specialize in working with people who:
are chronically ill or disabled, grieving, going through a major life transition, have experienced relational or medical trauma, or have been harmed by a doctor, mental health practitioner, or treatment facility.
I became a therapist because:
therapy has been life-changing for me as a client, and I love supporting people through their darkest moments. And celebrating those wins!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I see all of my clients via Zoom, so I can see anyone in California.
More about me and my practice:
I believe my lived experiences as someone who is queer and chronically ill, lives with depression, has a history of relational and medical trauma, and has experienced loss give me unique perspectives in the therapy room.
