I work Monday through Thursday from 2-7PM.
My clients describe me as:
I am passionate about giving people a voice and making sure they feel seen, heard, and understood. Building to people's strengths is key.
Something to know about my approach is:
I am very goal-oriented and love to focus on things you can change. On the flip side, I also love to hold space for the grief that is involved in things we don't have control over. The two can coexist together, simultaneously.
Together, we will:
Figure out how to uplift your voice and have your strengths be seen. We can work together to find a way to help you fight the world's "isms." Whether it's trauma, anxiety, depression, or grief, let's figure out how to navigate through that together.
I specialize in working with people who:
I specialize in working with people with disabilities because I was born with muscular dystrophy. I also specialize in LGBTQ because I am bisexual. I specialize in trauma as well, which I feel tends to go hand and hand with marginalized people.
I became a therapist because:
Since I was born with a severe disability, I've always had to rely on others to take care of me daily. This profession helps me to give back to others
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I believe I have a lot to offer as someone who truly understands disability as well as obstacles in life from an oppressive system.
More about me and my practice:
I love the work that I do and I love helping those who feel like no one understands them or who feel like they don't belong. I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. You have so much to offer and I want to help find out what that is.
