I treat trauma and anxiety with EMDR, which is an amazing brain-body technique that retrains your brain to relax. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy for depression and anxiety where we replace unhelpful thoughts with appropriate alternatives.

we will practice grounding and relaxing activities to bring awareness to your mind/body before exploring and releasing the anxiety and past trauma so you can regulate your emotions, set boundaries, and build confidence around what you can control.

I became a therapist because:
The loss of my father in my teens led to unprocessed grief as a young adult. It took the right therapist to help, and I knew I wanted to help others.
