warm, authentic and direct. We'll spend time in therapy working on strategies to help you meet your goals and get back to living a great life!
Something to know about my approach is:
My specialty in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - I help clients understand the patterns of behavior and thoughts that are keeping them stuck and develop strategies to break those patterns and create a meaningful life.
Together, we will:
work as a team to interrupt rumination/constant worry, increase a sense of control over your life, and be present to what matters to you. You will understand not only what to do in a moment but why your mind and body feel like they're fighting you.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling with anxiety, panic, constant worry, and health concerns such as insomnia, physical pain, binge eating or chronic illness.
I became a therapist because:
to help people as cliche as it sounds. A therapist helped me when I was a teenager and I wanted to do the same for others who were struggling.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
my direct approach and focus on evidence-based skills. Working with me, you'll take away something from every session to help you move forward.
More about me and my practice:
I work from home and absolutely love telehealth because it gives my clients the opportunity to more flexibly and easily attend therapy. I also get to stay home with my pup Ollie which is a huge bonus. You may see him in the background at times.
