My clients describe me as:
A bilingual first-gen Xicana who actively centers culture in therapy and believes that connecting to our culture can help us with healing and growth.
Something to know about my approach is:
I passionately support others with their decolonization process to help connect to their inner power and wisdom, and help shed internalized oppressive views, as well as foster self-awareness and a deeper connection to their more authentic self.
Together, we will:
Find the path that will help you feel more confident, capable, and rooted in yourself to manage life's challenges--connect to your resilience and your strengths in a way that honors your values, and highlights that you have all you need to heal.
I specialize in working with people who:
Identify as BIPOC, and especially those of the Latine community, who are hoping to heal trauma (including intergenerational trauma), anxiety, self-doubt, grief, and connect to their power, sense of agency, and resilience.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to become the therapist I desperately needed in my young adulthood; who understood my cultural identity and my language.
