Something to know about my approach is:

Most of my clients talk 90% of the time in session. My role is to help them hear themselves to find answers within. I ask clarification questions to help them navigate themself to a healthier path. Occasionally offer psychoeducation.

Together, we will:

go explore healthier version of yourself. When you feel like you don't need me anymore, my job is done. My long term clients hear "little Junko" and knows what I would say. When that happens, you are ready to "graduate".

I specialize in working with people who:

are immigrants or 2nd/3rd generation of Asian immigrants.

I became a therapist because:

I am interesting in people. I feel humble to be able to witness resilience.
