My approach is not ever to be the expert in the room. Although I have the skillset and possible solutions to help, I first want to understand your unique experience and situations that have shaped who you are.

I of course want to identify goals to work towards to get you relief as quick as possible, however together we can go back as far as childhood to understand how patterns started and what shifts in thinking needs to occur to disrupt them.

I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize in working with people that have a history of trauma. Trauma can affect us in various ways and affect the way we are in relationships. I enjoy helping individuals process these issues to regain their connection with others.

I became a therapist because:

I come from a family of both addiction and mental health issues. I understand how these experiences can contribute to feelings of shame.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I used to not offer telehealth, as I did not feel it was the same as in person. This has changed as I have been doing telehealth for many years.
