By using “bottom-up processing” techniques, we are able to go beyond the cognitive brain and open up deeper, embodied opportunities for developing a more resilient nervous system after trauma.

It is my hope in the therapy room to encourage healing through curiosity, creativity and compassion toward all the parts of the you. Ultimately I hope to support your confidence in moving through all of life's surprises.

I support folks processing of sexual abuse, women-issues, intergenerational & systemic trauma as well as support any other navigation of oppressive structures, at-odds identities or value systems that have created barriers to your self-empowerment.

Everyone has a powerful inner wisdom inside them. It is my job as your therapist to help you claim your fullest voice and most joyful life.

I was awarded the Insoo Kim Berg Award for “Outstanding Contribution to Social Work Knowledge and Practice” in 2018, and “Community of Practice Award” in 2019. I have also sat on the Board and professional development committee of NASW-DC.
