My clients describe me as:
Extraordinarily human. Comfortable and compassionate coupled with a direct approach to get to the root of your struggles.
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe each person requires a unique approach! I pull on different modalities and interventions as needed. Included but not limited to: dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion focused therapy and mindfulness.
Together, we will:
Identify and address ineffective behavior patterns, better understand and tolerate emotions, heal relationships and foster a deeper understanding of self.
I specialize in working with people who:
New or soon-to-be professionals or therapists/coaches struggling with impostor syndrome, uncertainty and taking on others emotions, all while trying to manage your own life in a new profession. And separately, all things Eating Disorders!
I became a therapist because:
We are not meant to do this alone. How can we be expected to change if we have never been guided through the how.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Easy parking, great food/shops and walking street. Office is clean, comfortable and warm space with a waiting room. Or, virtual therapy!
More about me and my practice:
I believe that finding the right fit is the most important (and often hardest) thing. Reach out for a free phone consultation. I will assess to determine what you need and if not me, I will happily point you in the right direction.
