I have openings for sessions Monday through Friday during the day.
My clients describe me as:
Warm, authentic, and intentional. My clients often share that they feel seen, connected, and can come as they are to freely express themselves.
Something to know about my approach is:
Therapy with me is collaborative and creative. Through parts work, mind-body practices, and expressive arts we get curious about how your body and nervous system responds when life becomes overwhelming so you can change unhelpful patterns.
Together, we will:
Get to the root of what keeps you from experiencing life differently, process and unburden painful beliefs and wounds that keep you feeling stuck, and engage in practices that help you feel anchored in a sense of self, agency, and compassion.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are men going through life transitions related to relationships, intimacy, and sexuality and people who are grieving traumatic losses. I support clients to feel grounded and a sense of self in a world that at times feels unbearable and chaotic.
I became a therapist because:
As a queer Filipino therapist, my own experiences with grief and loss due to intergenerational trauma and unexpected death brought me to this work.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer virtual and in-person sessions in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
More about me and my practice:
I take into account how cultural and familial expectations, relationship dynamics, and systemic issues influence the stressors we experience and how we cope. I believe the roles and cycles we find ourselves in don’t have to be permanent.
