My clients describe me as:
I have been described as grounded, warm, conversational and direct. I am non-pathologizing and allied to diverse communities.
Something to know about my approach is:
I’m committed to helping creative individuals overcome periods of stagnation. I work with you to find what fits best in your life given your individual knowledge as you are the expert of your own experience.
Together, we will:
Foster a spirit of honest sharing in the room, a space where you can express what is important and genuine, be it pain or joy. Together, we will bring into focus associations and patterns and how they limit and/or enrich your life.
I specialize in working with people who:
...are trying to move through major life adjustments, their artistic practice, depression, anxiety, self-esteem problems, grief, trauma, parenting, infertility, and/or interpersonal relationships.
I became a therapist because:
I’m a huge fan of storytelling, the stories we tell ourselves, and uncovering the ways in which these narratives guide us.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
We offer in-person sessions in Silver Lake above Akbar in Northeast Los Angeles. The environment is inclusive and creative.
More about me and my practice:
I utilize a variety of strength-based, culturally sensitive modalities (catered to each therapeutic relationship) and create therapeutic goals with you. I also offer EMDR and walking sessions (yes… we can walk together!) for those who are interested.
