I am a nonjudegemnetal compassionate person to work with. Im also described as, humorous/ light hearted, relaxed but energetic at times.
Something to know about my approach is:
I consider the power dynamics in people's lives and the society we live in. The client is the expert of their own lives and I am a collaborator. I do narrative therapy and somatic approaches.
Together, we will:
I will help you step away from self-blame and build more confidence. This is mainly for people who struggle with anxiety and depression. In grief, I help people come to terms and cope. I also will help you build your community/support systems.
I specialize in working with people who:
I started off with a specialization in grief work. I also work with a lot of people in their early 20s-mid 30s dealing with self-esteem issues. Now I've added brainspotting intervention to heal people with trauma and attachment issues.
I became a therapist because:
When I was a teen I knew I wanted to be a therapist. I grew up with the stigma of mental illness and had a curiosity about how people work.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I have been working in the mental health field since I was 18 years old. I offer my services to dignify and heal people.
