My clients describe me as:
Someone who deeply cares about what they think and feel. I value creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to speak from the heart.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use a variety of theories that I customize based on your needs - I can be directive or a listening ear. I utilize a depth therapy approach, meaning that my focus is to get to the root of your problems and help you connect the past with the present.
Together, we will:
Create a space for you to talk about what’s stressing you. We’ll discuss what you want to be different in your life and gameplan for how to make it a reality. We’ll find sustainable strategies to help you cope and move beyond the emotional pain.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with anxiety, depression, and stress. I also specialize in helping people who are concerned about a family member’s substance use or mental health, as well as people recovering from codependency or an abusive relationship.
I became a therapist because:
My own therapy showed me first-hand the transformative impact therapy can have on a person’s life, and inspired me to pay it forward with others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer in-person appointments in Oakland, as well as teletherapy.
More about me and my practice:
I do everything in my power to help you feel comfortable and safe in our work together. I know people come to therapy with worries about how their problems may be perceived; therapy with me is a safe space to bring up anything that’s on your mind.
