OFFERS REMOTE THERAPY
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
My three core values include creativity, connection, and community. My clients tell me I am compassionate, non-judgmental, direct, and kind.
Something to know about my approach is:
I love to incorporate art therapy approaches whenever possible which include storytelling and a wide variety of art-making processes. My hope is to encourage my clients to use art and storytelling as tools for understanding, processing, and healing.
Together, we will:
Create a safe space to discover practical solutions and a compassionate understanding of the challenges you face. Together we will approach challenges, personal histories, and painful emotions with hope, courage, compassion, and understanding.
I specialize in working with people who:
I have an empathetic and direct communication style that addresses harmful relational and communication patterns. I use talk therapy as well as art therapy techniques to visualize and process past experiences that relate to these areas.
I became a therapist because:
I lost a friend to suicide in 2015. After that, my passion for people, creativity, and community blossomed into a determined pursuit to help others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Our space is decorated with calming blues and grays and our seating is comfortable with a window that gives a warm light!
More about me and my practice:
I will gently challenge harmful thinking and offer support as we process painful emotions. I also offer a faith-based, Biblical approach if you want to include that perspective in our process. I offer a free 15 min consultation if you have questions!
