About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Working together involves a delicate balance of unconditional support and gentle invitations to enter the brave space of healing.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My approach is fat-positive and trauma-focused. This work highlights the experiences of folks in fat and larger bodies who have experienced the traumas of weight-based discrimination and supports movement toward personal body acceptance.

  • Together, we will:

It's important to build trust and safety to unpack your personal body story, relationship with the body, how your experiences inform this relationship and help you come home to your body.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize in supporting folks living in fat/larger bodies to heal body image and move toward body liberation. Weight stigma is something folks in larger bodies cope with daily and can be experienced as a form of violence and trauma.

  • I became a therapist because:

Living in a fat body in recovery from an eating disorder, my experiences, and my passion for supporting others brought me to the field of therapy.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I offer virtual therapy that allows you convenience, flexibility, and the benefit of curating your space to support your personal therapy experience.

  • More about me and my practice:

Mindfulness and body awareness are very powerful tools for healing trauma and body image. It can feel scary to be present with the body at first and we'll make sure we move a pace that feels safe and right for you each step of the way.
