I treat trauma through the lens of mind/body connection. I primarily use EMDR, which bridges the trauma stored in your body/mind/spirit to allow healing, CBT, which helps you identify and replace unhealthy thoughts, and DBT to teach coping skills

There will likely be laughter and tears, difficult conversations, "Aha" moments, and a challenge to be honest with yourself. We will connect to create a calm/safe space. You will re-learn confidence, re-train unhealthy attachments and learn coping.

I specialize in working with people who:

Feel alone, disconnected, misunderstood and hopeless. They have experienced trauma and struggled to cope and make sense of it all. I help my clients find hope and minimize the hold trauma has had on their lives.

I became a therapist because:

Serving with the Army in Iraq reinforced my passion to help others, showing me the complex way the human experience affects individuals long term.
