I am genuine, honest, supportive, and open. I will follow your lead- whether you need someone to listen, challenge you, or help you delve deeper.
Something to know about my approach is:
I will ensure you feel comfortable. Our relationship/connection is essential for therapy to work. There will be no stuffy office space, writing notes under the gaze of judgy eyes, or a long couch...I promise!
Together, we will:
I believe strongly in your capability for change, and look forward to supporting you in healing from your past and changing your future.
I specialize in working with people who:
Have dealt with traumatic experiences and lives. My clients often feel alone, misunderstood and hopeless. They have experienced trauma and struggled to make sense of it all, and are ready for change and growth.
I became a therapist because:
I am passionate toward healing and supporting others due to my own life experiences and those of my loved ones.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am EMDR trained and offer it through teletherapy. I am a Certified Trauma Specialist. I am also familiar with CBT, DBT and strive to empower you.
More about me and my practice:
I have been Clinical Director of multiple Substance Abuse Treatment facilities. I have been in practice since 2010. My education, professional experiences, being a mom/daughter/partner and surviving trauma all contribute to my practice.
