My clients describe me as:
Goal-focused, centered and driven to work together with them towards a life they want to live.
Something to know about my approach is:
I welcome you as you are. Our therapy space is a non-judgmental place where we work to formulate where you would like to see yourself in the short and long term. You are the expert on yourself, and I am here to guide you.
Together, we will:
Explore what may be underlying your stress and symptoms, and work to help you cope better with the current problems you are facing. I believe in a culturally-sensitive and integrative approach to therapy and consultation.
I specialize in working with people who:
are adults (18-64) and older adults (65+) and with couples. My experience has been broad across hospitals including Kaiser and UCSF, community mental health clinics serving LGBTQIA+ and Chinese populations, and in schools.
I became a therapist because:
I was curious and driven. I truly love this work, particularly when we can work together and some change happen, even in a small breadth of time.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
With Chinese populations. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and have a strong sense of cultural dynamics within Chinese families.
