My clients describe me as:
being warm, and builds the therapeutic relationship based on respect and compassion.
Something to know about my approach is:
Hello! I know how challenging and intimidating it can be to choose the right therapist. I am a therapist that will help you gain insight into yourself while also guiding you towards discovering solutions for your unique challenges.
Together, we will:
create a safe, non-judgmental place where you will be heard, accepted, and understood. After years of studying and teaching mind/body practices, I am able to effectively guide you on your journey back to wholeness.
I specialize in working with people who:
suffer with deep emotional traumas, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, life transitions, and grief in ways that bring about relief and lasting change. I meet you where you are with no judgement or expectation.
I became a therapist because:
Through counseling, I learned how to survive my husbands death. Sharing evidenced based counseling tools with those who suffer is my highest calling.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am a certified and trained yoga therapist and I have been practicing and teaching yoga for over twenty years.
More about me and my practice:
I take an integrative approach to counseling. I weave modern mental health techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and EBT, with integrative techniques like subtle movement, breath-work, visualizations, and meditation.
