About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

I am curious by nature, and I’d love to help you explore your particular individuality and its connection with your life history and desires.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My approach is guided by the belief that a safe, supportive relationship is essential for positive change, and that change is possible. I have specialized training in psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, health coaching, and mindfulness.

  • Together, we will:

explore your particular individuality and its connection with your life history and desires. You’ll gain new insight and appreciation for who you are as you grow in expressing previously unspoken parts of yourself.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a wilderness guide, both domestically and internationally. I have been a Buddhist meditation practitioner since 2000, and have received instruction in the Vipassana, Zen, and Vajrayana traditions.

  • I became a therapist because:

I have been training in group therapy with the American Group Psychotherapy Association and the Center for Group Studies in New York since 2013.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

Experiences in groups are uniquely powerful ways to move towards change, especially for clients in complex relational dynamics (a common affliction).

  • More about me and my practice:

In addition to my private practice, I am in formation as a Lacanian analyst at the Clinical College of Colorado, and I provide mental health services at VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System.
