About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

I am genuine in my desire to help a patient evolve as a person. I am interested in knowing the person and helping to understand the person as a whole.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I gently guide individual to have a deeper understanding and appreciation of how they operate in the world, which then drives the person to change. I want the individual to have significant, long term change and not just a quick fix.

  • Together, we will:

Explore the underlying issues that cause you problems. We will help bridge the gap between understanding and change. We will determine your willingness and motivation to improve your relationships with yourself and others.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Want healthier relationships with themselves and others. Who struggle with dealing with their emotions through addiction to food, substances, or other things that cause distress.

  • I became a therapist because:

Of my belief that people have the ability to determine what they want for themselves in a world that can be challenging to navigate.

  • More about me and my practice:

I have significant training in assessment, which gives me the ability to quickly determine the issues so that we both know where and how to start and get where you want. I have been working with Eating Disorders and addiction for over 15 years.
