My clients describe me as:
Understanding, supportive, full of great techniques, relatable. Some have said "That was the best session I've had out of any therapist I've been to."
Something to know about my approach is:
I use an active and individualized approach to psychotherapy. Most prominently I find success with EMDR and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. EMDR and the adaptive information processing model serves as the lens that drives my practice.
Together, we will:
Work to improve and address concerns, set goals, and help you move toward an essentially better life. We will look at past experiences, patterns of thinking, roots of emotions, and build skills to create functional and comfortable ways of living.
I specialize in working with people who:
Women experiencing depression, grief, anxiety self-esteem, or life challenges. I also specialize in perinatal mental health, working with women around issues related to pregnancy and motherhood.
I became a therapist because:
I find great joy in helping others feel cared for, heard, and understood. I serve as a mirror, compass, and flashlight to help you find your way.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am currently offering therapy, including EMDR therapy, through telehealth only.
