ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
Clients often tell me that they feel very comfortable with me, that they can relate to me.
Something to know about my approach is:
My style is eclectic, because one size DOES NOT FIT ALL! I offer EMDR, CBT, hypnosis, and psychoeducation as my main modalities for treatment. Often times, I will combine these modalities and others to create a unique and effective approach for you
Together, we will:
We will begin to navigate the root causes of what is going on, you will begin to understand how and why it has been affecting you. We will review and practice skills that will help you to self-regulate and heal.
I specialize in working with people who:
Adults who suffer from PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, depression, anxiety, anger issues, grief, and/or substance abuse. I specialize in sexual assault, combat, First Responders and Veterans.
I became a therapist because:
Through my own experiences, I know how important it is to have a therapist who is empathetic, caring, and knowledgeable about trauma and healing.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am a veteran and I offer free counseling for veterans who have served at least 6 months active duty, have a DD214, and have an honorable discharge.
More about me and my practice:
I am very laid back and casual. I often wear chucks and jeans to work. I believe that being myself allow is the most important aspect of my practice. I am very real with my clients.
