About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Hi! My name is Dr. Corinne Smorra – please call me Corinne. Participating in therapy with me is "collaborative" and meant to be comfortable for you.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

We will do a lot of work together, but my goal is to make “walking through” your uncomfortable moments more bearable. Sessions will begin with what is currently on your mind. Our work is a gradual and continuous, even outside of our sessions.

  • Together, we will:

I provide a place you can reveal your thoughts and feelings without being concerned about a negative reaction. We work together over time to achieve the goals you desire, along with helping you become self-sufficient to deal with life’s curveballs.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Individuals and their caretakers who are experiencing challenges with chronic and congenital disease, including organ transplant. I also specialize in anxiety, grief, and depression.

  • I became a therapist because:

I found those who experience chronic illness, or a death related to chronic illness struggle to find someone who really "gets it" and understands them

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I offer tele-health therapy because my clients struggle with energy in their day to day life, so having to add going to an office can be exhausting.

  • More about me and my practice:

I am licensed in multiple states because of the lack of therapists who specialize in my areas. I did this so I can help more people deal with the challenges of having a loved one, or being afflicted yourself, with congenital or chronic disease.
