I am a preventive psychiatrist, meaning I believe in proactivity. My specialty is helping women, particularly Black/BIPOC women, THRIVE. Why wait to develop an illness when we can implement lifestyle habits that are preventive and protective now?
Together, we will:
I offer holistic, individualized evaluations & medication management through a culturally competent & sensitive lens. For milder symptoms, alternative/natural supplements are an option. I also offer brief, solution focused therapy for some clients.
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with high-functioning, professional women who are highly motivated for change. I treat depression and anxiety as well as women who do not necessarily have a mental health diagnosis, but they do not feel like they are thriving.
I became a therapist because:
I am a caring, problem solver who believes that health and wealth are defined as balance across one's mind, body, spirit and lifestyle.

I actively listen & partner with patients to implement solution-focused strategies designed to help women get 'unstuck' & live more fulfilled lives!

My shift of focus to women's mental health & wellness and professional burnout was inspired by my own lived experiences and the dearth of culturally sensitive care addressing the unique and often unrecognized needs of professional women of color.
