Let's talk! I have day and evening appointments available.
My clients describe me as:
As a consistent, steady, and gentle grounding force.
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe we ALL have the wisdom we need in order to navigate our own lives. "Therapy" is a series of conversations that help us tap into that wisdom and make sense of your lived experience(s) so that you can forge the path to the future YOU want.
Together, we will:
Explore the connections between your identities, life stressors, and mental health so that you can: set boundaries, develop different coping strategies, manage fear/shame/guilt, and find supportive resources that work for you.
I specialize in working with people who:
Belong to the LGBTQ+, BIPOC and/or immigrant communities and want to nurture self-acceptance and belonging in themselves. I also work with couples to understand how their patterns of interactions are impacted by their identities and life stressors.
I became a therapist because:
As a queer, Mexican, immigrant I've often felt "ni de aquí, ni de allá. (neither here nor there). I wanted to be the therapist I needed for myself.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am available for evening appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
More about me and my practice:
I'll use my extensive training in family and couples therapy to help you understand yourself in the context of relationships. We'll explore and address the patterns of thought, feelings, and behaviors that impact your goals.
