My clients describe me as:
Authentic, passionate, and patient. I'm here until you meet your goals and we work to see results! Thus, goals within treatment are essential.
Something to know about my approach is:
I work from an evidence-based treatment approach and am trained and proficient in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I'm able to provide remote therapy in Georgia and 37 additional states (please reference: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap).
Together, we will:
We will help you grow. Clinical growth typically reflects intentional efforts at changing our cognitive approach to numerous situations. If we can think differently, we'll both feel and act differently.
I specialize in working with people who:
I routinely work with general issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, stress). My postdoctoral fellowship focused on the assessment/treatment of PTSD and trauma-related disorders. I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
I became a therapist because:
I have a passion for helping people. Thankfully, I've been trained by strong clinicians and I enjoy passing along the skills they've taught me.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I was raised in Georgia. I value that I work in the same area in which I grew up; I hope to support this community for the remainder of my career.
More about me and my practice:
I've worked in Veterans Affairs, private practices, and as a clinic director of 100+ clinicians. After these experiences, I determined I was ready to open my own private practice. I also keep my fees accessible, in order to reach more people.
