I see clients virtually on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and in-person on Tuesday and Friday.
My clients describe me as:
My clients say that I am kind, easy to talk to, and have a calming presence. They refer to me as gentle, while also direct and solution-focused.
Something to know about my approach is:
My style is warm and caring, and I strive to create a space where you feel free to be yourself- maybe even laugh along the way. There is no "one size fits all" approach in counseling- I incorporate aspects of CBT, DBT, Narrative, and Expressive Arts.
Together, we will:
We'll tailor your counseling experience in a way that makes sense for you and your journey. I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives, so we collaborate to determine which approaches and techniques are best for you. We are a team!
I specialize in working with people who:
Do fearful or self-critical thoughts pop into your head? Do these thoughts cause you to feel stuck or overwhelmed? I specialize in helping teen girls and young women feel more in control of their lives, while building confidence and hope!
I became a therapist because:
I have seen the benefits of therapy in my life, and I am passionate about helping my clients find freedom in their lives!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My office is easy to find and has plenty of parking available. There is a receptionist, large waiting area, and a beautiful pond with walking trails.
More about me and my practice:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and former School Counselor. My training was through the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and I've enjoyed being a counselor for the past seven years.
